Report of Stakeholder Consultation Workshop for Preparation of the Marine Fisheries Management Area (MFMA) Management Plan in Kep Province
Abstract
Stakeholder Consultation Workshop for Preparation of the Marine Fisheries Management Area (MFMA) Management Plan in Kep Province was conducted by Fisheries Administration, at Kep Province, on 19-20 September 2018. The meeting attended by 25 participants, including Fisheries Administration, Department of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, Fisheries Administration Cantonment, Community Fisheries and NGOs. The meeting results are concluded as follows: 1) MFMA’s Management Plan Goal is “marine fisheries resource and ecology system improved through effective management, promoting eco-tourism and adopting climate resilience of community, and contributing to local livelihood”; 2) there are 9 MFMA’s Objectives and Actions shown as draft Logical Framework for MFMA’s Management Plan.
