This paper followed up the baseline survey in Koh Kong Province by monitoring the gonad growth of short mackerel in Koh Kong province. The survey found that fishermen start short mackerel fishing from October to April at Koh Yor, Koh Code, and Peam Krasob. However, during the said period is a spawning time of short mackerel. Therefore, it is needed to take properly management measures to ensure fish stock in the nature, especially during its spawning starting in December to March.en
