Report of the Baseline Survey of Short Mackerel and Fish Larvae Collection in Koh Kong
Abstract
The Baseline Survey of Short Mackerel and Fish Larvae Collection was conducted by Fisheries Administration, at Koh Kong province on 9-14 September 2019. The survey aimed to monitor the development of short mackerel gonad, to interview mackerel fishermen on socio-economic and fisheries status, and to collect sampling fish larvae. The meeting attended by 6 participants, including leaders and officers from Department of Fisheries Conservation, officers from Fisheries Administration Cantonment in Koh Kong. Based on the survey, biological data of short mackerel are collected, the maturity stage are identified, GSI are calculated for further analysis. at village 4, Sangkhat Dorng Tung, and Khan Kem Reak Phummin were interviewed by using semi structure questionnaire
