Abstract
The Meeting was organized by Research Institute of Fish Resources Enhancement (RIFE) on June 17th 2021, attended by members of the National Fisheries Refugia Committee (NFRC), from RIFE, Center for Fisheries Research (CRF), Agency of Marine and Fisheries Research, and Human Resources (AMFRHR), and Directorate General of Marine Spatial Management (DGMSM). In this meeting discussed the plan for the implementation of fisheries refugia activities to be carried out in West Kalimantan and Bangka Belitung. The meeting indicated that Fisheries refugia will carry the same concept as area conservation that has been carried out by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, under the Directorate General of Marine Spatial Planning.
