Abstract
Consultation Meeting with Relevant Stakeholders to Select the Site for Marine Fisheries Management Area Including Fisheries Refugia in Kampot Province was conducted by Fisheries Administration, at Kampot Province, on 14-17 August 2018. MFMA establishment in Kampot is to ensure sustainable fisheries resource management, especially sea grass, coral reef, and mangrove forest, which are critical habitat for feeding, spawning, and nursery for fish species, especially Grouper. Key stakeholders involving in the marine fisheries resource management in Kampot agreed principally to establish MFMA in Kampot including Provincial Authority, Department of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, and Fisheries Administration Cantonment in Kampot.
