Abstract
Reviewing the Map Boundary of the Plan for Marine Fisheries Management Area and Discuss with Community Fisheries (CFi) on Management Measurement of Grouper’ Seed Collection in Kampot Province was conducted by Fisheries Administration on 29-30 January 2019. 10 participants, including leader and officers from Department of Fisheries Conservation and officer from Fisheries Administration Cantonment in Kampot joined the discussion. Based on the discussion with CFi, Fishermen, Traders, it is concluded as follow: 1) juvenile grouper are harvested staring from September to February and rich in October to November; 2) the seed are collected for cage culture at Trapaing Ropaov and Prek Thnaot CFis; and 3) There are 6 traders at Trapaing Ropaov and two traders at Prek Thnaot sites. In addition, the map boundary of marine fisheries management area for juvenile grouper was reviewed.
