Description
USAID Oceans, through Bold Native Advisors, Inc., conducted a value chain assessment of tuna fisheries in General Santos City, Philippines, as a key first step to understand the catch documentation and traceability (CDT) processes and requirements along the value chain. The report identifies the main exporting markets and explore market/buyer requirements and customer preferences, and informs USAID Oceans’ CDT design approach, partnership development and industry engagement in General Santos and along the value chain.

This document is a summary of three technical reports produced by Bold Native. Download the supporting outputs:

Output 1: Value Chain Analysis and Catch Documentation and Traceability Requirements of the Tuna Industry

Output 2: Main Export Markets and Requirements

Output 3: Customer Requirements for Philippine Tuna Products
