The USAID Oceans and Fisheries Partnership (USAID Oceans) works to strengthen regional cooperation to combat illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing, promote sustainable fisheries and conserve marine biodiversity in the Asia-Pacific region. The Partnership works with public and private sector partners across the region to develop and implement electronic Catch Documentation and Traceability (eCDT) systems that improve fisheries management, enhance human welfare, and support global interests of maritime security, prosperous markets, and food security. This video provides an overview of the benefits of eCDT technology, as well as a glimpse of how the technology USAID Oceans is deploying in Southeast Asia can benefit a range of partners—from local fishers to international consumers.en
