The Second Meeting of Site-Based Fisheries Refugia Management Board in Surat Thani Province

Abstract

The second meeting of Site-Based Fisheries Refugia Management Board in Surat Thani Province for the Project entitled “Establishment and Operation of a Regional System of Fisheries Refugia in the South China Sea and Gulf of Thailand” was organized by Chumphon Fisheries Research and Development Center, Department of Fisheries on 28th December 2020, 09.00 – 17.00 hours, at Wang Tai Hotel, Surat Thani Province. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Itthiphon Kwathai, Director of Surat Thani Fisheries Provincial Office acting as chairman of the committee. There were totally 32 participants, joining the meeting, including board committee, key speakers, and observers from Department of Fisheries.
