Abstract
The local consultation meeting on verification of map of marine fisheries management area including grouper fisheries refugia at Kampot province was organized by Fisheries Administration (FiA) of Cambodia collaborating with Kampot Fisheries Administration Cantonment on 26 January 2021, funded by SEAFDEC/UNEP/GEF Fisheries Refugia Project. The meeting was conducted at Prek Thnaot commune, Tek Chhou district, Kampot province, which was attended by 16 people in total from the FiA, Fisheries Administration Cantonment, Local Authorities, and Community Fisheries. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss and verify draft map of marine fisheries management area in Kampot province and uncertain areas for Development Company to reach the agreement together before the draft map submitted to provincial authority for the meeting of a final decision.
