Abstract
The 3rd Meeting of Technical Working Group for Marine Fisheries Protection and Conservation Area in Koh Kong province was organized by Fisheries Administration (FiA) of Cambodia collaborating with Koh Kong Provincial Hall Administration on 16 December 2021 with 25 participants from Provincial Hall Administration, Fisheries Administration, Department of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, Fisheries Administration Cantonment, Department of Environment, Department of Tourism, Department of Land Management, Urbanization Construction, and Cadastral, Kiri Sarkor District Administration, Mondol Sema District Administration, Sre Ambil District Administration, Koh Sdach Commune, Koh Kong Provincial Police, Koh Kong Provincial Military Police, Sea Open Unit, Maritime Police, and NGOs. The meeting focused on 4 reports including progress report of preparation for 5 years Action Plan for Management of Mackerel Refugia in Koh Kong Province; Progress report of Mackerel Refugia at Peam Krasob; Progress report of Management of Estuarine Terrapin (Batagur affinis) and Siamese crocodile (Crocodylus siamensis) in Sre Ambil Channel System, Koh Kong province; and Progress report of Process of Establishment of Marine Fisheries Management area (MFMA) in Koh Sdach Archipelago, Koh Kong.
