Fisheries Refugia Site Management Committee Meeting: Masinloc Site
Abstract
The meeting was attended by the Municipality of Masinloc, Ms. Olive Gregorio, the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Officer, the LGU Focal Person of the Refugia Project, and NFRDI lead staff held on 8 November 2021. The meeting confirmed the priority species and boundary delineation for Masinloc Refugia. National Guidelines for the Establishment of Fisheries Refugia were addressed, while the initial draft was commented on and endorsed by the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA). The action plan will be drafted and include the suggested policies with appropriate fines and penalties and strategies and activities
