Report of Stakeholder Consultation Workshop on the MAFF’s Proclamation on the Establishment and Management of Short Mackerel Fisheries Refugia in Koh Kong
Abstract
This paper related to the draft MAFF’s Proclamation on the Establishment and Management of Short Mackerel Fisheries Refugia in Koh Kong through the Stakeholder Consultation Workshop. The consultation was attended by 21 participants, including Fisheries Administration, Fisheries Administration Cantonment in Koh Kong, Department of Environment, Department of Tourism, Department of Land, Construction, and Cadastral, Provincial Military Police, Provincial Police, Water Boundary Police 269, District Authorities in Koh Kong and Mondol Sema, and Provincial Administration. The results from workshop are improved draft MAFF’s Proclamation of short mackerel fisheries refugia and draft decision of provincial management committee of the marine fisheries management area in Koh Kong province.
