Report of Stakeholder Initiation Meeting in Trat Province

Stakeholder Initiation Meeting was conducted by Department of Fisheries at Trat province on 14 August 2017. The meeting aimed to initiative introduce the project and discuss on possibility to creating fisheries refugia for target aquatic species to promote a sustainable management of fisheries resources. Issues and problems facing by the fishermen as well as the selecting of target species for management were discussed. The meeting was attended by 21 people from relevant institutions and fishing communities in Trat Province.
