Basic Training on Coastal and Marine Law Enforcement was organized by NFRDI/Fisheries Refugia Project on 23-27 September 2019 in Pangasinan. The objectives of this training are to raise knowledge and skills in the basic rules of apprehension and handling of evidence; to improve the understandings of national laws, local ordinances and other instrumentalities, the process on how coastal and fishery law enforcement, as well as; to raise awareness of how to handle different situation in fisheries law violation by the Law Enforcement Team and, how to detect fish caught by explosive/dynamite. Moreover, there were 20 participants from law enforcement team and officials of the different coastal barangays of Bolinao, Pangasinan.
