นามธรรม
SEAFDEC launched the Collaborative Research Program on Fisheries Resources in the South china Sea, with the financial support from the Government of Japan, primarily to assess the current status of the fishery resources and update the database on their sustaining factors, which the national and regional resource managers need and must depend upon in making policy decisions. A program of this type is beneficial to all SEAFDEC member countries, as it collects vital information on fishery oceanographic, environmental and marine biological conditions that give shape to, control and sustain the fishery patterns in the region.
