Report of Consultation Meeting and Follow Up Installation of Mooring Buoys at the Boundary of Blue Swimming Crab Fisheries Refugia in KEP Province
Abstract
Fisheries Administration of Cambodia in cooperation with the local government of Kep Province followed up the Installation of Mooring Buoys at the Boundary of Blue Swimming Crab Fisheries Refugia on 18-20 July 2019. 6 participants, including leaders and officers from Department of Fisheries Conservation and officers from Fisheries Administration Cantonment in Kep joined the activities. There are 9 buoys/positions for the boundary of blue swimming crab refugia at Angkor village, Dam Chorng Ore district, Kep province. The announcement letter of blue swimming crab fishing close at fisheries refugia in Koh Po is started from 1st May to 31st July of the year.
