dc.description.abstractSince the Royal Netherland Government gave support under the S.I.R. aid policy to SEAFDEC’s Training Department in view of the common interest in enhancing the Fishery Technology to the inhabitants of developing countries, two Regional Training Courses in Marine Capture Fisheries for Fishery Extension Officers were held at Training Department, Samutprakarn, in 1981-1982. In consequence of these 2 successful training, the 3rd Regional Training Course for Fishery Extension Officers in Marine Capture Fisheries, with appropriate modification of syllabus to suit the immediate needs of the Region, has been again set up at the premises of SEAFDEC;s Training Department from July 26 to September 17, 1982.en
