Description
The meeting was held on April 24-25, 2015 at the Conference Room, RFTC-8, SSU-Mercedes Campus, Cataloging City. The meeting was organized to review/drafting of the Samar Sea Fisheries Management Plan for the presentation to the Quarterly meeting of the Alliance of Local Government Units of Samar Sea. The meeting/workshop also intended to update/consolidate socio-economic survey data forms for trawl and other gears. It was also intended to revisit implementation plan will also be reviewed and revised for presentation in the Project Steering Committee (PSC) meeting as well as the preparation for the regional activities (Planning WS & PSC) was also discussed.The meeting/workshop was attended by 14 members of the Technical Working Group (TWG) composed of local government agencies/units, local fisheries councils, the academe, fishing boats operators/fishermen other stakeholders representatives.
