The training / workshop was conducted on June 27-29, 2013 at theBureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) - Regional Fisheries Training Center (RFTC) VIII Conference Room, Samar State University (SSU) - Mercedes Campus, Catbalogan City. It was attended by Municipal Agriculturists and Field Technicians in charge of fisheries from 10 municipalities along Samar Sea; and researchers /technical staff from the Samar SSU -Mercedes Campus College of Fisheries and Marine Sciences and BFAR -RFTC8 The training/workshop was conducted mainly to inform participants about the REBYC-II CTI project, capacitate them to undertake inventory of fishing boat and gears with emphasis on trawl fleets and to initiate their involvement and participation through the actual conduct of the inventory.
