Report of the First Meeting of Site-Based Fisheries Refugia Management Board in Trat
Abstract
First Meeting of Site-Based Fisheries Refugia Management Board in Trat was conducted by Department of Fisheries on 4 April 2019. The meeting attended by 42 participants, including board committee, experts, and observers. The meeting aimed to provide background of the project, status of coastal fishery resources and relevant ecosystem, fishing communities, as well as the context of Indo-Pacific mackerel in the Gulf of Thailand, in order to serve as the baseline information for site-based co-management of Fisheries Refugia in Trat Province.
