At the request of the Lao PDR Department of Livestock and Fisheries (DLF), on January 14-16, 2020 an introductory electronic catch documentation and traceability (eCDT) workshop was conducted in Vientiane, Lao PDR in partnership with the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC) and the USAID Oceans and Fisheries Partnership (USAID Oceans) project. The workshop served as a ‘showcase’ for available eCDT technologies that could be applied in the Mekong Region for freshwater and marine fisheries management in Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, and Vietnam. This report summarizes the completed workshop session outputs and recommendations.
