This report provides information about Sed island’s characteristic in terms of geographical characteristics and distribution characteristics, which help the study in mapping. Also, the report pointed out the economic aspect in Blue swimming crabs which are an economically important marine animal resource in many countries. There is a lot of use of the small Blue swimming crabs because the value has been added for processing into crab meat and bringing the berried female Blue swimming crabs to take advantage. The current harvesting of Blue swimming crabs may be considered it is not causing sustainability usage according to the principles of utilization, conservation and restoration of the international measures.
