dc.description.abstractThis report is a part of an online regional training course on Fish Handling Techniques Onboard Fishing Vessels organized through the Zoom platform under the situation of the Corona Virus-2019 (COVID-19) pandemic in the Southeast Asian region and all over the world. This online training course was envisaged to gather and update information on capabilities to transfer the knowledge gained from the training program. It could be ways forward for improving, raising awareness of the optimal utilization of fish and fishery products. It is noted that this training will be undertaken online. Participants of the online training course come from those relevant working experiences and related fish handling and capabilities to expected that transfer the knowledge gained from the training program to SEAFDEC Member Countries. The online training was sponsored by the Japanese Trust Fund 6, Phase II. There were 3 sessions at the online training: (1) Literature reviews (2) Online demonstration (3) Discussion/evaluation. This report summarizes the main points made during the presentation and discussions on 12 – 13 May 2021.en
