MetadataShow full item record
The paper presents the results of the patrol and enforcement activities done by the Chumphon Marine Fisheries Patrolling and Enforcement Center at the Pahew Bay. The activities aimed to establish a local enforcement unit at the project site comprising selected volunteer fishers. The unit members were expected to participate in the coastal resource management under the fisheries law. Furthermore, it is expected that through this strategy, the unit members will enable to increase their awareness about conservation of the fisheries resources and on sustainable coastal fisheries resource management.
