Report of the 3rd Regional Technical Workshop on Safety at Sea and Optimizing Energy Use for Small Fishing Boats

Abstract

The 3rd Regional Technical Workshop on Safety at Sea and Optimizing Energy Use for Small Fishing Boats was organized by the SEAFDEC Training Department (TD) in Samut Prakan, Thailand from 19 to 22 December 2011. The Workshop was attended by representatives from Cambodia,Indonesia, Japan, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippine, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam as well as from the SEAFDEC Secretariat, TD, MFRDMD, and other international organizations/ institutes including Fisheries Research Agency (FRA), and International Maritime Organization, International Labor Organization.
