Regional Action Plan for Management of Transboundary Species: Indo-Pacific Mackerel (Rastrelliger brachysoma) in the Gulf of Thailand Sub-Region

The decline of Indo-Pacific mackerel due to changes in environmental condition and water quality, modification, and loss of critical habitats and resources, has been documented in several countries and reported by the media. Regional cooperation among the countries In the Gulf of Thailand Sub-region led to the adoption of the Regional Action Plan for management of Transboundary Species: Indo-Pacific Mackerel (Rastrelliger brachysoma). The RAP was adopted by SEAFDEC to apply to other sea areas in Southeast Asia.
