Report on the Fourth Regional Training Course for Fishery Extension Officers in Marine Capture Fisheries

Abstract

The Fourth Regional Training Course for Fishery Extension Officers in Marine Capture Fisheries was organized at the Training Department form 1 June to 8 July 1983. This was the fourth course held since 1981, to which the Royal Government of the Netherlands gave its generous support, recognizing the urgent need for prompting fishing technology in the Southeast Asian region. Owing to the success of the previous course, a large number of government in the region released one or more of their fishery officers to attend this training.
