The Biostatistics of Fishery Biology: Calculation Procedures of Fundamental Biostatistics

Abstract

The textbook, originally compiled as lecture notes on a part of the biostatistics for the SEAFDEC/TD Regional Training Course on Fish Population Dynamics, and then revised to demonstrate the basic principles of biostatistics and procedures for calculating the fundamentals of fishery biological work. It is presented under the following main section headings: 1) Data arrangement; 2) Features of groups; 3) Difference between groups; 4) Relationship between characters; and 5) Growth equations by graphical method.
