Report of The Regional Workshop on Offshore Fisheries in Southeast Asian Waters

Abstract

The Regional Workshop on Offshore Fisheries in Southeast Asian Waters was convened in Bangkok, Thailand, from 3 to 4 December 2013 to update the National / Regional initiatives on offshore fisheries resources development/exploration in the member countries. To discuss on future plan of activities of the project from 2014 to 2017 and to facilitate the utilization of M.V.SEAFDEC 2 by the member countries for future development of offshore fisheries resources. The workshop was attended by authorities from Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippine, Thailand, and Vietnam. As well as SEAFDEC personnel from the Secretariat, Marine Fishery Resources Development and Management Department
