Crab Bank
抄録
The paper provides information on the Crab Bank project at Pathew District, Chumphon Province, Thailand. In the Crab Bank, the fishermen deposit mature blue swimming crabs with eggs in the cage of the crab bank. The crabs were then allowed to spawn in cages, after which they are sold to the local market. The main objective of the project was to protect gravid crabs and encourage community awareness in resource conservation to maintain sizes and improve the quality of caught crabs.
